GYMFIT Intro | Levels 1 & 2
Jr 6-8 yrs | Sr 9-14 yrs

This introductory program is perfect for girls aged 6 and up who are new to gymnastics, or who have completed Tumblin’ Tigers or Advanced Tumblin’ Tigers. It is the first step in the CANGYM level system.Ā 

Classes focus on warm-ups and beginner skills across all events, using safe, progressive instruction so girls develop proper technique in a supportive environment that builds a strong foundation for future growth.

  • Pre-requisite: None
  • Recommendation: 1 or 2x per week

Girls GYMFIT | Levels 3 & 4
Jr 6-8 yrs | Sr 9-14 yrs

This program builds on foundational skills, further developing full-body strength, flexibility and coordination. Gymnasts are introduced to new elements across all events, including handstands, cartwheels and bridges. The curriculum focuses on balance, body control and overall athleticism to prepare girls for more advanced levels.

  • Pre-requisite: Successful completion of Level 2
  • Recommendation: 1.5-hour class, 1 or 2x per week

Advanced GYMFIT | Levels 5 & 6
Jr 6-8 yrs | Sr 9 -14 yrs

This advanced program accelerates skill development through focused conditioning, flexibility work and technical mastery of skills like walkovers and round-offs. With higher expectations, progressing may take multiple testing periods.Ā 

Gymnasts build genuine confidence through dedication, hard work and achieving challenging skills.

  • Pre-requisite: Successful completion of Level 4
  • Recommendation: 1.5-hour class, 2x per week

GYMSTARS | Levels 7+
Jr 7-9 yrs | Sr 10-14 yrs

This extra-advanced program develops higher-level skills with a focus on technique, conditioning and attention to detail. Gymnasts learn Junior Olympic level routines, take part in a required in-house fun competition, and can begin preparing for competitive gymnastics through goal-setting and discipline. Testing happens twice per year, as more time is needed to develop these advanced skills.

  • Pre-requisite: Level 6 or coach recommendation
  • Recommendation: 2-hour class, 2 or 3x per week
  • Requirement: GYMSTARS bodysuit and competition fee, due at registration

For gymnasts who fall in love with the sport, GYMSTARS is a natural bridge to our Competitive Women’s Artistic Gymnastics Program, where All Star athletes compete and succeed at the provincial and national levels.

Teen GYMFIT

13 - 17 yrs

This co-ed class gives teens a fun, structured environment to build strength, flexibility and gymnastics skills at their own pace. Each session includes a warm-up, conditioning and training on all events, plus tumbling and trampoline. Students progress through our levelled skill system while staying active, gaining confidence and making new friends in the gym.

  • Pre-requisite: None
  • Recommendation: 1 or 2 classes per week

Girls who love the floor and trampoline elements can add even more air time in our Tumbling Classes, and anyone wanting extra practice can book our Supervised Open Gym Sessions.

Boys Advanced GYMFIT Levels 5-6

Jr 6–8 yrs | Sr 9-14 yrs

This advanced recreational program is designed for boys who are ready to take their skills to the next level in a fun, focused environment. Athletes will work on more challenging skills and combinations across all men’s gymnastics events, while building strength, improving technique, and developing body control. The class emphasizes safe progressions, consistency, and confidence, helping gymnasts grow both physically and mentally as they advance.

Pre-requisite: Successful completion of Levels 3 & 4 or coach recommendation
Recommended Schedule: 1.5-hour class, 1–2 times per week
