Welcome to our Women’s Artistic Gymnastics (WAG) program competitive pathway! From foundational skills to high-performance training, our programs are designed to support gymnasts at every stage of their journey. To become a competitive member, a child must be either selected through our ‘tryout’ process or be invited. See program descriptions below to learn more.
Ages: 5–6
Training: 4 or 6 hours/week
Meets: 1–2 local meets
This introductory program builds the foundation of gymnastics through structured training in strength, flexibility, and essential body positions. Listening skills, discipline, and a strong work ethic are emphasized in a fun and supportive environment.

Ages: 6–8
Training: 9 or 12 hours/week
Meets: 2 ODP or compulsory routine meets
This exciting stage helps gymnasts gain new skills and confidence through progressive training in strength, flexibility, and technical precision. Athletes may compete in ODP meets and begin working toward JO Levels 1–5 under the Ontario Competitive Program.
Ages: 8+
Training: 8–12 hours/week
Meets: 3–5 competitions
This program is for gymnasts ready to compete at a higher level. Athletes train intensively to master polished routines with excellent form and presentation. This stage requires consistent effort, independent work habits, and a strong commitment to competitive growth.
Ages: 9+
Training: 16–25+ hours/week
Meets: 3–5 competitions (Provincial/National level)
Our top-tier program for athletes with elite potential. Gymnasts here train at the highest level, with emphasis on complex skills, mental resilience, and consistent performance. Athletes may qualify for team selection, travel, scholarships, and national competition.

Training: 1:00 PM – 6:00 PM (Monday–Friday)
School Hours: 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM
This program provides elite athletes with a balanced schedule of academics and high-performance training. Students attend a half-day school program (e.g. Hollycrest PS, Etobicoke – TDSB) and train in the afternoons. A similar school is opening in Mississauga for Peel Region athletes.
Placement in our competitive programs is based on coach evaluations through a ‘’Tryout’ process. If you’re interested in learning more, please visit our tryout page. .
Congratulations! When your child is accepted into the program, you will receive an email with details. You will be invited to attend an information session in person or on Zoom. Next, complete the registration process and soon your child will begin their competitive gymnastics journey at All Star!
