Daytime Classes 9:00am – 4:00pm If school buses in peel are cancelled during the day, All Star recreational programs are also automatically cancelled during the day. If schools are closed, there will likely be no evening classes however, check your email and our social media pages FB and Instagram for regular updates.
Evening Classes 4:00pm – 9:00pm conditions will be reassessed, and an update will be posted on our website and on our Facebook and Instagram pages by 2 pm. Please LIKE US on Facebook and Follow Us on Instagram for regular updates.

General
ALL STAR SPORTS CENTRE strives to meet the needs of its employees and customers with disabilities and is working hard to remove and prevent barriers to accessibility.
ALL STAR SPORTS CENTRE is committed to fulfilling our requirements under the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, 2005.
It’s our goal to offer an environment that accommodates all persons, and we are committed to constant improvements for the benefit of our staff, our members, and visitors. It is also our goal to identify any possible barriers for people with a disability and work toward removing them.
This accessibility plan outlines the steps we are taking to meet those requirements and to improve opportunities for people with disabilities. Our plan shows how we will play our role in making Ontario an accessible province for all Ontarians. The plan is reviewed and updated at least once every 5 years. We train every person as soon as practicable after being hired and provide training in respect of any changes to the policies. We maintain records of the training provided including the dates on which the training was provided and the number of individuals to whom it was provided.
Multi-Year Accessibility Plan
ALL STAR SPORTS CENTRE is taking steps to become the most accessible friendly facility as possible and recognizes improvements will be an ongoing process. This plan is in compliance with the requirements set by the Government of Ontario.
BARRIERS FOR ACCESSIBILITY:
Facility
1) No automatic door or doorbell at the entrance
2) Service counter inaccessible for those in a wheelchair
3) 3 of 5 emergency exits are accessible without stairs
4) Emergency exit signs required updating
5) Facility was lacking accessibility signage
6) Needed to identify wheelchair parking
7) Create a specialized area for viewing programs and during events
8) Gyms are not accessible for those with wheelchairs due to the uneven surfaces
9) Some programs are on the mezzanine level with no elevator

For 2026, ALL STAR SPORTS CENTRE will be putting the following into place:

4) Offer documents in large print and Word (screen reader friendly) – Near Completion
5) Identify wheelchair washroom – Completed
6) Aid those requiring an accessible washroom – Implemented
7) Repair lights for emergency exits – Completed
8) Add signage for washrooms and service counter – Completed
9) Training for staff on coaching gymnasts with disabilities – Near Completion
10) File Accessibility Compliance Report by April 15th – Completed
11) Provide separate designated specialized seating area for all in house events and aid – Implemented
12) Provide emergency response training – Near Completion
13) Train managers further on communication with those who have accessibility needs – Near Completion
14) Meet with the owner of the building about adding an automatic door or a doorbell for the office team to assist with opening the door to the front entrance – Near Completion
By the end of 2026, ALL STAR SPORTS CENTRE will be fully compliant with all Accessibility requirements from the Government of Ontario:

Exceptions for Accessibility
1) Gyms are not accessible for those with wheelchairs due to the uneven surfaces and limited space between events.
2) We cannot alter the building and are unable to install an elevator therefore some programs and viewing areas will be inaccessible only to those in wheelchairs.
Customer Service
ALL STAR SPORTS CENTRE is committed to providing accessible customer service that respects the principles of independence, dignity, integration, and equal opportunity for people with disabilities. Barriers to access will be identified, removed, and prevented in compliance with the AODA and the Ontario Human Rights Code. Individuals are permitted to use their personal assistive devices when accessing services, and where limitations exist due to health or safety concerns, alternative measures will be provided. Staff will receive ongoing training to ensure they are knowledgeable and comfortable supporting customers using various assistive devices.
ALL STAR SPORTS CENTRE will communicate with individuals with disabilities in ways that meet their needs by offering multiple accessible communication methods, including in-person, phone, email, text, and digital platforms. Accessible supports such as large print materials, plain language documents, screen-reader compatible content, captioned videos, and assistance with forms will be available upon request at no additional cost. The Company will continue to work collaboratively with individuals to determine the most effective communication approach for their needs.
ACCESSIBLE COMMUNICATION & INFORMATION
ALL STAR SPORTS CENTRE is committed to communicating with individuals with disabilities in ways that respect their needs and preferences. Staff will use inclusive verbal practices such as speaking directly to participants, using clear and simple language, providing visual demonstrations, and allowing extra time for understanding. Written materials will be offered in accessible formats, upon request, including large print, high-contrast text, plain language, visual supports, and screen-reader compatible digital documents.
Digital and online communications will be designed for accessibility, including captioned videos, alt text for images, structured website content, and mobile-friendly, screen-reader compatible platforms. Multiple communication options will be available, such as text, email, phone, and virtual meetings.
ALL STAR SPORTS CENTRE will work collaboratively with individuals with disabilities to determine the most appropriate communication methods and supports.
Accessible formats and communication supports will be provided upon request in a timely manner and at no additional cost. ALL STAR SPORTS CENTRE will consult with the individual to ensure suitability and will notify the public of availability through its website, signage, and printed materials.
A feedback process will be maintained and made accessible to persons with disabilities. Where information cannot be converted, ALL STAR SPORTS CENTRE will provide an explanation and a summary of the content.
