All Star Summer Camp Programs
Today’s parents demand children’s summer camps that give their kids physical activity and mental development. That explains why All Star Kids SummerFun Gym Camp is so popular that parents start registering their children in January.
Each week has a different theme with activities that introduce children to exercise that seems more like fun and games. They really enjoy the trampoline, gymnastics events, physical games, water play and more! They are encouraged to be creative and develop skills that stimulate both mind and body in our child-centered environment. Although it is a fun-based, active environment, our instructors maintain the structure and discipline to keep things organized and on track.
Flexible Programs To Suit Your Schedule
We understand the scheduling demands of today’s family life and that’s why we developed Summer-flex scheduling. We don’t believe you should pay for something you don’t need. The Flex schedule lets you register the time you plan to use. You can choose from half or full days of camp, 2, 3 or 5 days per week. It’s ideal for part time workers, families planning day trips or extended weekends at the cottage. To accommodate early drop-off and late pickup we offer you extended hours. While some facilities cancel extended hours if demand is low, you can count on us to be available when you need us. We guarantee extended care before and after camp!
Your Child’s Safety Comes First
Our equipment is checked on a daily basis and updated regularly. Camp starts with a safety video to ensure that everyone knows the rules of the gym and how to stay safe.
Our facility is designed for campers with a lunch area and a washroom inside the gym that are not accessible to the public. As a measure of enhanced security we have a segregated area for extended care and a sign in/sign out procedure that ensures the safety of all children. The only time children enter the common area is during pickup and drop off.
Preschool Camps
Age: 3 1/2 to 5 year olds
Your children will enjoy gymnastics, arts and crafts, theme-based games, water-play, trampoline, jungle gym time, interesting stories and outdoor activities all on-site.
Recreational Camps
Junior: 6 to 8 year olds
Senior: 9-12 year olds
All Star Campers are kept extremely busy with plenty of gymnastics, trampoline, conditioning, theme-related events, crafts, and outdoor activities all on-site. The week winds down with Movie Day on Friday with a featured movie in the afternoon.
Tumbling Camps
Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced 6-9 year olds
Beginner/Intermediate/Advanced 9 years+
All participants will increase flexibility while working splits and bridges and improve their fitness level through our boot camp style conditioning program. Specific skills are taught to enhance routines for dancers, cheerleaders and gymnasts with customization for each individual’s goals. Consistent repetition of the skills learned in a camp setting results in a much faster progress rate than the one-hour weekly program that are generally designed to maintain skill level.
Beginner Tumbling
Participants will learn back walkovers, front walkovers, cartwheels, one armed cartwheels and begin to learn roundoffs. Cheerleaders will work jumps, rolls and dive rolls instead of walkovers.
Pre-requisite: Good bridge and handstand. Cheerleaders not required to do a bridge.
Intermediate Tumbling
Participants will fully develop their roundoffs, aerials (good-side), back handsprings and roundoff back handsprings. Cheerleaders will master advanced jumps, dive rolls and replace aerials with drills for standing back tucks.
Pre-requisite: front and back walkover, handstand support against a wall for 30 seconds, ability to jump, one side splits, 30 sit-ups, 20 pushups.
Advanced Tumbling
Participants will learn “other side” aerials, aerial fronts, roundoff, two backhandsprings and layout stepout. Cheerleaders will work on front tuck step out, standing back tucks and layouts and roundoff backhandspring back tucks and layouts as well as twisting.
Pre-requisite: Aerial, round off, standing back handspring, 30-second handstand, 30 sit-ups, 20 pushups.
