Shooting Stars Cheerleading
Shooting Stars Cheer is a fun filled recreational program that enhances both personal development and improves team building skills. Learn skills, jumps, tosses, sequences, routines, flips and more! No experience necessary! Bring your friends and make new ones!
Our 'All-Star' Cheer is our new, exciting competitive cheer program with advanced tumbling, tosses, stunts exciting routines and more! Participants will prepare for several competitions in this program which is by recommendation only. Come to the Open Practice below as a free trial!

Recreational Tiny Cheer (NEW!) 3.5 to 5 yrs (View Details)
This full year program is for our youngest members of the cheer squad! Why not start early learning the basics of cheerleading. Tiny Cheer will teach basic jumps, very basic stunts and participants will learn a choreographed routine to perform at the end of the year! Classes are 60 minutes.

Recreational Youth Cheer 6- 8yrs (View Details)
This full year program is designed to teach the basics of cheerleading. Cheerleaders will develop their flexibility, learn cheers and master the art of performing them. They will also learn arm motions, jumps, and basic tumbling skills such as dive roll, cartwheels and roundoffs. They will learn a basic cheer routine and perform at a 'just for fun' competition at Canada's Wonderland! Participants are encouraged to take the beginner or intermediate tumbling class to enhance their skills. Class length 1 hr.

Recreational Junior Cheer 9-13 yrs (View Details)
This full year program is designed to teach the basics of cheerleading. The cheerleaders will develop their flexibility, learn cheers and master the art of performing them well. Recreational Senior CO-ED Cheer 14-18 YRS (View Details)
This class is designed for learning cheer basics such as stunts, basket tosses and dance steps and more. Participants will experience several jobs on a team thus improving their team building skills. They will work on fun, high energy routines and perform at one 'for fun only' competition at Canada's Wonderland! Participants are encouraged to also take a tumbling class in addition to the cheerleading class to maintain and develop their tumbling skills. Great for dancers, gymnasts! Class length 90 min.
Pre-requisite: good physical condition, ability to work hard and full team commitment is vital.
